Send a fax from your computer email program using imagicle Digital Fax.
How does it work?
Digital Fax will receive your e-mail, convert it to fax format and send it to the selected destination. Fax transmission notification will be returned to your Tarleton email.
How do I send a fax via email?
To send a fax via email, follow these steps.
- Request a Fax Server account at https://services.tarleton.edu/TDClient/57/Portal/Requests/ServiceDet?ID=919. Once confirmed, move to next step.
- Open Outlook or other email application
- Start a new email message
- Enter sendfax@tarleton.edu in “To:” field
- Enter destination fax number in the “Subject” field. This may be a four digit campus fax extension (ie. 1234) or an off-campus fax number (ie. 8+1+10 digit fax number)
- Optional, but recommended - a recipient name can be added in the "Subject" field. In this case, fax number should be placed after recipient name, between double parentheses: Joseph White ((1234))
- Optional, but recommended - a fax subject can be added in the "Subject" field. In this case, fax number should be placed before the fax subject, between double parentheses: Joseph White ((1234)) Your Invoice
- Add your fax message into the email body and/or add an attachment to be faxed
- Send email
The text of your email message will be used as the fax body.

You can also attach one or more documents to be sent as the fax body. Digital Fax supports multiple attachments in a single email transmission.
Allowed file attachment formats: doc, docx, gif, jpeg, jpg, pdf, png, rtf, tif, tiff, txt, xls, xlsx.
