How to End a Task in Task Manager
Close the application if you're having a problem with it.
- Search Task Manager and open it.

- In Task Manager, click on the Processes tab to view all running processes.

- Scroll through the list to find the application you want to close. You can also click on the Applications tab to see a list of currently open applications and select the one you want to close.

- Once you've located the application or process, click on it to highlight it.

- With the process selected, click the End Task button at the top of the Task Manager window. Alternatively, you can right-click on the process and select End Task from the context menu.

Repairing Applications in Control Panel
- Click on the windows logo and search for Control Panel

- Choose Programs and Features

- If you are unable to see the option then at the top right, next to “View by: “, make sure that you are on the Small icons option

- Find and choose the application you want to modify
- In the gray banner towards the top, select the Change option

- You will receive a pop-up window asking if you would like to allow this application to make changes to your device, click Yes
- You will be led to another pop up asking if you would like to Repair. Select the Repair option
- It will take a little to load, but once it has then you can close out of the pop-up window
Uninstalling an Application in Control Panel
- Click on the windows logo and search for Control Panel

- Choose Programs and Features

- Find and choose the application you want to uninstall
- In the gray banner towards the top, select the Uninstall option

- You will receive a pop-up window asking if you would like to allow this application to make changes to your device, click Yes
- You will be led to another pop up asking if you would like to Repair or Uninstall. Select the Uninstall option
- It will take a little to load, but once it has then you can close out of the pop-up window
