Keyboard Shortcut to Change Multiple Displays

Body

Using the Windows key + P shortcut in classrooms

First, you will connect your Windows laptop to the laptop cable provided in the instructional space.

  • This will usually be an HDMI cable on the instructional cart or table.

Next, you will press the Windows key + P to bring up the Project device options.

  • The Project device options provide quick access for changing your display settings between Duplicate (same on the laptop and display) and Extend (different on laptop and display).
  • Here you may choose how you would like to use your multiple displays connection.
  • You can adjust these settings again anytime by pressing the Windows key + P again.
