SSO Login Issues

Body

If you have multiple accounts it is likely you could be running in to SSO issues when logging in to workday.

Having multiple accounts can possibly cause issues if you are already logged in to a student account or a faculty/staff/student worker account.

  • All student related matters should be completed with your @go.tarleton.edu account.
  • All employee related matters should be completed with your @tarleton.edu account.

Sometimes your computer remembers your last login, and won’t prompt you again, which can prevent you from switching accounts. Follow these steps to get logged in with an alternate account:

  1. Open a Private/Incognito Window

This ensures no saved session or token is used.

    • In Chrome: Press Ctrl+Shift+N

    • In Edge: Press Ctrl+Shift+N

    • In Firefox: Press Ctrl+Shift+P

  2. Go to the Login Page

    • Navigate to the usual login link (e.g., Microsoft 365, Teams, or application URL).

  3. Sign Out of Any Current Account

    • If prompted, choose “Use another account” or “Sign out” of the one showing.

  4. Enter Alternate Account Credentials

    • Type the username (email) and password for the account you need to log in with.

    • If MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication) is required, approve the login as usual.

  5. Optional – Clear Saved Sessions (If Still Not Prompted)

    • In your browser, go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Clear Browsing Data.

    • Clear Cookies and Cached Data.

    • Close and reopen your browser, then retry the login link.
