This article explains why students receive the Student Account Deletion email and what actions they can take in response. Students are automatically placed on a deletion list after a long semester without active enrollment. This guide outlines the three options available to students: registering for the next semester, reapplying to the university, or requesting an exception through a support ticket.

Why do students receive this email?
Students receive this email when they haven't been actively attending classes for a long semester. It is an automated list and process.
What can the student do?
- Register for the next semester
- Reapply to the university
- Ask for an exception
- If the student is not formally taking classes, but rather is part of Tarleton as part of a program or specific class, please do the following:
- Create a ticket under 'Account Assistance'
- Label it 'Account Deletion Exception Request'
- Fill in the student's information and be sure to include their email address if they do not show up in TDX as a requestor
- Include their reasoning for why they will still need access to their account despite not registering for the next semester
- Reassign the ticket to Server Support
