These steps will create a one-time backup of your current bookmarks. This is a good option when you need to back up before your computer is reimaged or replaced. If you choose to use your Tarleton account to sync your data in Edge, then you can skip this method.

Open Microsoft Edge.

Click on the Favorites icon (star-shaped) near the upper right of the window.

In the Favorites menu, click on the three-dot icon.

In the next menu, click on Export Favorites.

Sync Bookmarks with a Microsoft Account

You can use/create a Microsoft account and sign into it in Edge. This allows you to sync your browser data, including bookmarks, to the cloud and other devices running Edge. With this function, you do not need to worry about manually backing up bookmarks.

Your Tarleton account is also a Microsoft account, so if you wish to use that, there is no need to create a new account.

Open Microsoft Edge.

Click Sign In found in the upper left of the window. If you do not see Sign In but instead see a profile picture, then you are already signed in with an account.
