What Changed
- Effective November 1, 2026, UIN Login was deprecated for https://sso.tamus.edu.
- Users who do not have a Tarleton account must now log in using ID.me instead of UIN Login.
Who Is Affected
- This change applies only to users without a Tarleton account.
- Users with a Tarleton account are not affected and should continue using their normal Tarleton login.
How to Handle Support Requests
- If a user without a Tarleton account contacts you for help logging in at https://sso.tamus.edu, direct them to use ID.me instead of UIN Login.
- If a user requests a UIN Login Override, do not process the request.
- Direct the user to TAMUS IT at support@tamus.edu for assistance.
Tarleton can no longer manage this login process. All UIN Login and override requests for non-Tarleton accounts must go through TAMUS IT.
