Install and configure OpenText HostExplorer for connecting to FAMIS
Step 1 - download and install HostExplorer

Step 2 - Configure the icon for connection to new FAMIS
In November 2022, FAMIS moved to a new technology platform. To use the new version of FAMIS, a new connection profile must be used. Follow these instructions from TAMUS to create a new replatformed FAMIS connection profile.

Connection profiles are user specific. If you are configuring a new icon connection for Connection Central, the new icon will be added to Connection Central only for the user who is logged in to Windows.
