This guide will go over using voicemail associated with your Tarleton State office phone. Including checking voicemail, customizing your greeting, getting notifications, and resetting your PIN.

Check Your Voicemail Anywhere
You can check your voicemail remotely through the Webex web portal. This can be done on any device with an Internet connection and does not require your voicemail PIN.
Navigate to https://user.webex.com/
Log in with your Tarleton email address and password as prompted.

Click "Settings"

Click "Calling"

Click "Voicemail"

Click "Manage voicemails"

Under "Manage voicemails" you can see new and saved voicemails, listen to them, and delete them.

Customize Your Voicemail Greeting
You may customize your voicemail's greeting message with a pre-recorded audio file or by recording a message through the Webex website.
Navigate to https://user.webex.com/
Log in with your Tarleton email address and password as prompted.

Click "Settings"

Click "Calling"

Click "Voicemail"

Go to the "Send calls to voicemail" section.
Under either active voicemail option, click "Custom message"

If you have an audio file you wish to use, then click "Upload file"

Or to record your message, click "Record message"

If recording, click the Record button to begin and end your recording.

Rename your recording as you wish.

Click "Save"

When done setting up your custom messages, click Save.

Voicemail Notifications
A new voicemail indicator will display on your office phone. You will also automatically receive voicemail notification to your Tarleton email, which will include an audio recording of the message and (in most cases) a text transcript of the message.
If you need even faster notification, then follow the steps below to enable text notification (without audio or transcript) sent to your smartphone.
Navigate to https://user.webex.com/
Log in with your Tarleton email address and password as prompted.

Click "Settings"

Click "Calling"

Click "Voicemail"

Scroll down to the Notifications section.
Turn on "Receive voicemail notifications."

Select "Text message"

Enter your phone number.

Select your phone's carrier.

Click "Save"

Reset Your Voicemail PIN
A voicemail PIN is requested to check voicemail through your office phone. You can reset your voicemail PIN without needing to know your current PIN by using the Webex website.
You can also check your voicemail through the Webex website without needing to use your PIN.
Navigate to https://user.webex.com/
Log in with your Tarleton email address and password as prompted.

Click "Settings"

Click "Calling"

Click "Voicemail"

Click "Reset voicemail PIN"

Enter your new pin, which must be at least 6 digits long.

Enter your new pin again to verify.

Click "Save"
