Creating a New Activity in EHR Tutor

Log in to EHR Tutor and click on “Course List”.

On the “Courses” page, find the course you would like to use.      

  • You may search for the specific course name using the “Search” field, or sort this list by clicking the column headings.

Once the course has been found, click on “Go to Course”.

  • Note: If you created the course, you will have the option to delete it.

The next screen has a few options:

  • “Create New Activity” button will allow you to create a new activity.
  • “Copy from Courses” button will let you copy all activities from another course. It will copy over all activities from that course without letting you chose which ones.
  • “Add from Library” button will allow you to pull from the library of existing activities.

Click on “Create New Activity”. You will be taken to a “Create New Activity” form.

Complete the form as needed.

The “Add Patient” button is at the bottom left of the screen. Click this to select and add a patient chart from the library.

This will open a new temporary window with a list of patient charts that can be added to the activity.

  • You may search the library with the “Search” box or sort the columns by clicking the column headings.

Select the patient chart and the window will automatically close, taking you back to the “Create New Activity” page.

  • The patient chart that was selected will be listed at the bottom of the page.
  • You may add another patient chart by clicking the “Add Patient” button again. You may add as many charts as needed to an activity.
  • Clicking “Remove Patient” will remove the patient chart from the activity.

Click the “Save” button when finished.

You will be taken to the “Course Activities and Grading” page, where you will see the new activity.
