A step-by-step guide on how to connect your personal Windows or macOS device to the “Tarleton-Visitors” Wi-Fi
Windows instructions
Navigate to the Network icon in the bottom right of your Windows desktop and select “Tarleton-Visitors” for the Wi-Fi network.
Your preferred browser should open to the registration page. If your browser does not automatically open, launch your preferred browser (Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, etc.).
- Enter your mobile phone number and reason for visit
- Accept the Terms of Service
- Select either “Sign in with Passphrase” (recommended) or "Sign in with Facebook"
If using Sign in with Facebook, follow the on-screen prompts and use your existing personal Facebook account.
If you selected "Sign in with Passphrase", complete the required form fields.
- Name
- Email
- Mobile number
- Reason for visit
- Accept the “Terms of Service”
- Select Sign In
You have successfully registered for Tarleton-Visitors Wi-Fi access and can browse the Internet.
Access to Tarleton-Visitors Wi-Fi is granted on a temporary basis and must be renewed. If your access expires, complete these registration steps again.
macOS Instructions
Click the Wi-Fi icon in the top right corner of your macOS desktop
- Select “Tarleton-Visitors” from the list of Other Networks
The Join "Tarleton-Visitors" pop-up will appear. If the pop-up does not appear, open your preferred browser (Safari, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, etc.).
Complete the required form fields
- Mobile number
- Reason for visit
- Accept the Terms of Service
- Select either “Sign in with Passphrase” (recommended) or Sign in with Facebook or Google
If using Sign in with Facebook or Google, follow the on-screen prompts and use your existing personal Facebook or Google account.
