Instructions for the VMWare Horizon HTML Access option and instructions for installing and configuring the VMware Horizon Client in order to access Tarleton's Virtual Infrastructure (VDI) environment.

Visit horizon.tarleton.edu
Choose the VMWare Horizon HTML Access option
Sign in with your NTNET credentials and make sure that the domain is under NTNET
You will come across a page with four different options to choose from
Each option has its own purpose, not every option has the same applications
VMWare Horizon Client
Installing the VMWare Horizon Client
Visit https://horizon.tarleton.edu/
Click on Install VMware Horizon Client
Select the Client Version
VMware Horizon Clients for Windows, Mac, iOS, Linux, Chrome and Android allow you to connect to your VMware Horizon virtual desktop from your device of choice giving you on-the-go access from any location. From the Product Downloads section, choose the Product that matches your device's operating system.
Click on GO TO DOWNLOADS. This opens the product download page.
Download and Install the Client
In the example image below, we have chosen the VMWare Horizon Client for Windows. Your screen may look different if you have chosen a different product version.
Click on the DOWNLOAD NOW button. If prompted, select the Save File button.
Locate the downloaded installer in your Downloads folder. This location will vary based on your operating system and preferences.
When prompted, click on Agree & Install.
When prompted, click on Finish.
Your computer may require a restart. If so, the installer will prompt you to restart.
Next you will configure the VMware Horizon Client.
Open the application
On the first time you launch the client, you will need to click on New Server, enter horizon.tarleton.edu, for the connection server.
Enter your NTNET credentials
You can now select the desired environment.
