Faculty and staff may be eligible to receive refreshed computer hardware
About the Campus Computer Refresh Project
The Campus Refresh Project is a program that provides faculty and staff with a reliable and dependable computer on a predictable 4-5 year cycle, subject to funding availability.
Replacement Schedule
The recommended refresh cycle is four years for laptops and five years for desktops.
The default computer selection for all eligible faculty and staff positions is a laptop (Windows or macOS). To request an alternative device such as a desktop or high-performance computer, please contact the Campus Refresh Project manager.
Notification of Eligibility
Eligibility Faculty and Staff will receive an email in the fall and spring. The email will include information on how to schedule and prepare for the machine replacement.
Campus Computer Refresh Project - Contact Information
Please contact Tommy Mosher for more information about the Campus Refresh Project.
The Campus Computer Refresh Project is subject to available annual funding. Priority is given to the refresh of aging classroom and lab computers. If sufficient funding is available, faculty and staff refresh will be considered after classrooms and lab refresh needs have been addressed.
Computers provided through the Campus Computer Refresh Project belong to the assigned position, not to individuals. If faculty/staff change positions at Tarleton, the computer does not move with the individual.
