Download Microsoft Outlook for iOS

On your iPhone, open App Store.

If prompted, log in with your Apple ID.

Tap on Search at the bottom.

In the search field at the top, type in "outlook".

Find Microsoft Outlook.

Tap Get (first time getting the app) or the download icon (you've used the app before). Follow the iPhone's instructions to complete the download.

If you see an Open button, that means you already have Microsoft Outlook installed. You can tap Open and proceed to the setup steps below.

Close the App Store, find the Outlook app, and tap on it to open.

Set Up Microsoft Outlook for iOS

After opening Microsoft Outlook, tap on Add Account.

  • If no previous account is found, then enter your Tarleton email address when prompted. Tap Add Account.
  • Your Tarleton account is found = Tap Add Account again.
  • The wrong Tarleton account is found = Tap Skip, and then enter your Tarleton email address when prompted.

Tap Open Authenticator when prompted.

Enter your Tarleton password.

At Add Another Account, tap Maybe Later.

Enable (or not) notifications as you wish.

Microsoft Outlook for iOS Settings

Adjust Settings In Microsoft Outlook

Tap on your account icon in the upper left.

Tap on the gear icon in the bottom left to get into Settings.

The more noteworthy settings are:

  • Display & Appearance - Change the look inside the app.
  • Signature - Add your email signature for email sent from your phone. You can copy/paste your own signature from an email you're already sent.
  • Notifications & Sounds - Set up default notification settings for email and calendar events.
  • Mail - Can turn off Focused Inbox if you prefer a traditional inbox organization. And can set the newest emails to be at the bottom or the top.

Feel free to explore other options in Settings.

Adjust Notification Settings In iOS

Open the Settings app.

Go to Notifications.

Scroll down until you find Outlook, then tap on it.

Adjust your notification settings as you see fit.
