Connect a device to Internet only wireless, Tarleton-IoT, using a passkey
Log in to ClearPass Guest
Important: If you are registering a mobile phone or tablet, turn off private Wi-Fi address/MAC randomization in your device settings. This step is necessary to ensure your device broadcasts the MAC address that matches your registration. Failure to complete this step will prevent your device from connecting to Tarleton-IoT.

Go to https://its-clearpass01.tarleton.edu/guest to begin the device registration process.
Use your Tarleton NTNET username and password to log into the Aruba Clearpass Guest registration portal.
Register your device

After successfully logging in to the ClearPass Guest portal, select "Create Device" on the left side of the screen. This opens the "Register Device" form shown below.
Your Tarleton username will auto-populate in the "Registered By" section of the form. The "Registered By" field is blacked out in the sample screen shown here.
Enter your device information in the required fields marked with an asterisk. It is also recommended that you enter a name of the device for easy identification.

Create Device
Click "Create Device" to complete the registration of your device. If successful, a page will appear showing that your device was successfully registered. This page will provide the password/passkey associated with your specific registered device. An email will also be sent to the email you provided during device registration.
The password/passkey provided is unique to the registered device. It cannot be used for any other device. If you have additional devices you wish to connect to Tarleton-IoT, you must register each device independently and use only the password/passkey associated with the MAC address of the registered device.
Because Tarleton-IoT is "Internet Only", there is no connectivity to the university network. Devices connected to Tarleton-IoT cannot navigate to local network resources such as T: drives, mapped drives, or UNC paths to shared folders.
