Extend Test Time, or add Attempt for a Student

This documentation is for instructors who need to add additional attempts or time to a quiz in Canvas.

Extend Test Time, or add Attempt for a Student

Perform the following from within the Course containing the quiz.

1. Navigate to Quizzes
   
2. Click on the quiz that will need additional time.
   
3. From the quiz page, click on the Moderate this quiz link
   
4. Click the edit icon next to the individual that needs their test adjusted​​​​​​​
   
5. Enter the additional attempts or additional time, then click Save
