Embed a Canvas Studio Video into a Page

Add a Canvas Studio video to a course page.  The instructor is assumed to know how to create, publish, and add pages to modules.

  1. Identify a location where the video will be embedded on a course page.  In this example, the text Embedded Video is the location selected.

  2. Place the cursor in the location for the video – or highlight the text as shown, then select the Canvas Studio Icon from the editor options

  3. Navigate to the desired video and select Select

  4. Check the desired options, then select Embed

  5. The video will be placed in the editor where the cursor or highlighted text originated.  In this example of the unsaved page, the Display Media Tabs option was selected.

  6. Save the page by selecting the Save button at the bottom-right corner of the screen.

In this example of the saved page, the Display Media Tabs option was selected.  This shows the lower area of the embedded item.

In this example of the saved page, the Display Media Tabs option was not selected.  This hides the lower area of the embedded item from view.
